I have a lot on my list but two things I always wanted were to have my own business and to LEARN TO FLY! It's taken a little time but I am finally there. My inspiration for flying came from my Dad. He flew Harvards and Vampire jets for Canada in the RCAF & Auxiliary during the 1940's. I would call him every week with progress updates from my flying lessons. I think he had as much fun hearing about them as I had taking them. We both had worked in the construction industry for many years and ironically, he as I am now, became a Realtor®. At the young age of 85, he is finally retired and living in the Boston area. I was proud to call him right away when I received my Private Pilot license and again after I sold my first house. Most recently, Dad came to visit and I was able to take him for a ride. He couldn't believe all the "restrictions" these days on airspace or the fact that we couldn't dart in and out of the clouds like he used to do. Yes, things have changed.
